PERMANENT RESIDENTS

At Sardis, our goal is to rehabilitate and release as many animals as possible. However, due to injuries or circumstances, sometimes an animal cannot be returned to the wild. We care for a number of non-releasable creatures and use some of them in our educational programs. Some of these permanent residents include:

"Wanagi" (Bald Eagle)
"Mote" (Barn Owl)
"Alexis" (Bald Eagle)
"Rosy" (Great Horned Owl)
"Heyoke" (Harris Hawk)
"Ska" (Snowy Owl)
"Argentina" (Swainsons Hawk)
"Veronica" (Turkey Vulture)
"Wind Dancer" (Golden Eagle)
"Shadow" (Female Barn Owl)
"Arrow" (Barred Owl)
"Tundra" (Peregrine Falcon)
"Thunder" (Red Tail Hawk)
"Mochni" (Juvenile Bald Eagle)
"Einstein" (Juvenile Bald Eagle)
